The only time I went snorkeling did not go as planned. My long hair got tangled in some mysterious ocean growth, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw bubbles drifting toward me. Naturally, I assumed a sea monster was coming for me. In full panic mode, I was pulled back onto the boat. The water was so clear, they could see there was absolutely nothing down there—just me, my imagination, and a lot of seaweed!
 
This art piece is created using commercial and sheer fabrics, with fabric painting. Finished by machine and hand stitching. Each expressive saying is machine-stitched in a free-motion style I developed and affectionately call “Chalkboard Writing.” Fabric border, unframed.
