VERTICAL DRIFT is intentional, with movement that is gentle rather than hurried. The vertical lines fall like quiet rain or flowing streams, creating a rhythm that brings calm instead of chaos. Within that motion, the circular forms act as points of focus—suggesting identity, presence, and a sense of being covered or protected. It gives the impression that even in continuous movement, there is purpose, stability, and a peaceful center that holds everything together.
 
This piece is a fiber collage created from a variety of commercial fabrics and fibers cut into strips, fused, and sewn. The see-through orbs are backed with gold lamé fabric. It is set in a sunken, golden oak-stained frame and uniquely topped with a floating acrylic glass sheet.
